As president of the East Melbourne Group, I am deeply saddened to advise members of the passing of Michael Wilson on Christmas Day 2025.
Michael dedicated his life to serving others, operated the local pharmacy on Powlett Street, and contributed many years of selfless service to our community.
Michael served on the EMG committee for 33 years.
At various times he held positions as President, Vice President, Secretary and ordinary member.
There was nothing ordinary about Michael's contribution.
This was recognised by Michael being awarded a life member of the EMG.
Upon hearing of his passing, one of our long time committee members said; " he was a gentle person and wonderful human being."
We send our condolonces to Michael's wife Pam and the entire Wilson family.
